BARRACUDA TRIANGLE have brought in October 2014, a rather interesting Output (Their debut album) in the avant-garde / instrumental progressive rock on the market. The formation is a Swedish / German band, with such outstanding names such as: >> Tomas Bodin (The Flower Kings, Karmakanic): Keyboards; Jonas Reingold (The Flower Kings, Karmakanic, The Tangent): Bass, Guitars; and Felix Lehrmann (The Flower Kings): DrumsDa snaps of Proggie though with the tongue, but this album also has its downsides small (more on that later). As an experimental, the avant-garde prog related party album, it was announced last year and it actually moves repeatedly in diverse musical prog-border areas. For album. The 9 pieces are distributed to good 60:48 minutes and the overall impression is a bit of getting used to, but if you're willing to ignore diverse, stereotyped, musical "prog rock standards", rewarded "Electric Shock Therapy" with amazing sound structures, which are not too often so to hear. Boredom is indeed none, but two pieces ("Tears In Blue Rain", "The Last One") are then but became a bit too lengthy and so are the small downsides justified. Sei.s drum, "Electric Shock Therapy" is still a good album and become an asset in the highly competitive Progrock division. For the highest rating it not quite enough, still recommended for Proggies wishing sometimes hear something "other prog rock". 4 stars (Genre relation).
