The steel edge on which it is supposed to cut is, high gloss!

This means that if you want to cut along a fine line, reflects
everything and it is difficult to cut straight.

That's why I often blended me because you can never tell exactly
if you are still on the line, or not.

I prefer therefore to cut the flattened side, which is indeed brushed
and thus not reflected.
