I had the e842 model I was happy and I wanted to renew the same. The e845 unfortunately has a major involution: the retractable portion of the cutting guide (which lifts hairs) is significantly reduced in height so that from 6mm (15mm and up), the base of this element hiding the blades, which are then unable to mow anything. It is thus advisable, from 6mm to retract this element, which does not help because the hairs are then no longer raised to reach the blades, and pass overwhelmingly between the cracks. In short, this mower makes the job up to 6mm (in that it fulfills its role "3-day beard"). Beyond that, it is totally ineffective. (It would have been if the "comb" Removable was deep within a small cm, is an incomprehensible design error). So why propose a cutting height up to 15mm? It's misleading marketing. And that's a shame because it was for me because such a criterion of choice height allows easy maintaining body hair. I would add that the precision trimmer who completed the e842 was also very helpful, and made a perfectly versatile tool. Want the upcoming models are inspired!
