I must admit that I had DevilDriver hitherto known, but always a little went past me. I knew only a few songs that I really liked, but I never occupied myself extensively with the band. But now I have gained their new album "Pray For Villains" and am thrilled. Boy, what great songs!
Beautifully furnished to the Twelve, but also with recognizable melodies and grandiose guitar riffs and MG-like drum salvos.
December Fafaras voice I found something far too monotonous; I must say it has evolved and developed into a great shouter.
DevilDriver move still on the terrain of modern thrash and the (melodic) Death Metal, sometimes groovy, then again through the sound barrier. Full marks!
