Dance beats instead guitar?

After Extended Player (EP) Curiosity I was very impressed by Carly Rae Jepsen. However, Call Me Maybe is not one of the favorites for me. I'm much more excited about Picture and Curiosity. With "calm, dreamy, playful" it hits another reviewer really very good.
Now we come but for the new album. Calm, dreamy and playful meets still on some songs. Even ballads like Beautiful and More than a memory can be found. Many songs me but too many "dance beats" were highlighted. Everyone should listen carefully at the new version of Curiosity once. They make you feel as if you have a sound track with (electronic) beats, drum roll etc. under placed around the entire song to give more pep. The result was my opinion, but really only "Dancebeateinheitsbrei" and the character of the song will be lost.
Even the way: I felt reminiscent of the movie "Music and Lyrics", where we were shown how to destroy a beautiful song by neat electro beats. A little bit of it goes here in the direction.
Conclusion: As "absolute rubbish" I would not call the new album. It has its highlights; my nerve, it has not quite hit Unfortunately for "Curiosity". 3 stars.
