Although I've followed all the recommendations, emerged after the second use dark gray streaks when wiping with a paper towel over the pan bottom. According to the description this is a sign that replaces the original vegetable oil coating. This dampens my initial joy because I now have to re-burn the pan, which goes hand in hand with great odor nuisance.
Addendum: Instead of re-branding I have five times Bratwurst fried (for eating, not for baking), then the pan wiped with paper towels (once hurried along with very little warm water) - and now the pan is the way I want them.
