Customer Review

In the Studio 150 in Amsterdam, Paul Weller made a number of his favorite songs and played them, among other things with his old friend Steve White (DR) after. You can hear covers mostly mediocre known title - he has left as a precaution aside the popular song. Thus he succeeds with "Wishing On A Star" (Rose Royce) through successful use of harp and strings a soulful version of the SOS Band songs, he gets Gordon Light Foods folky "Early Morning Rain" well under control and also Bacharach / Carpenters "(They Long To Be) Close To You" scrapes past the arbitrariness.
Succeeded also Neil Young's "Bird But" he has taken something on some titles. Aaron Neville's "Hercules" can only lose votes compared, fun of Sister Sledge in "Thinking Of You" and the Drive by Gil Scott-Heron's "The Bottle" He also does not get out properly. And please, no more cover of Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower". It's nice to hear from Paul Weller once again, but please write it again even songs.
