Debut album with sentimental attraction

The First Time (Audio CD)

Customer Review

In 1974, Marius went with musician and producer Peter Hesslein the studio mesh to accommodate this debut LP within three weeks. The result was a mixture of style Schlager, rock and singer-songwriter-songs that combines its own innocent, sensitive atmosphere. It was not exactly a furious start his musical career. But still "the first time" Marius is not the hoped-for breakthrough brought, you can hear even today this album again and again. The often sentimental lyrics revolve predominantly autobiographical as the mother (a perennial favorite with Westlife), the death of the father or the first Love. Some songs exert a magical attraction to the handset. Just think of the cult number "Marion from Pinneberg" in which it comes to the weekend a country beauty. I liked it especially "Taxi man" done what is particularly good at full volume. I am fascinated by this honest record that has not yet dusty even after 27 years.
