Deep insights into Michelle's soul ...

Almost unnoticed, the new album by Michelle has sneaked into the CD racks. There is no time headline on the front page of the tabloids, as with many previous publications of the singer. No nude photos or new love stories, not reckoning with its past, and no new identity. Michelle is back - and this time again as "Michelle". After her little trip to the disco era under the name Tanya Thomas the singer has again found to be and now published her - as she puts it - most personal album.

"Glass" is a very well-produced German pop album, far from Michelle's first hit albums. Here you will find modern compositions, perfectly tailored to your great voice. Michelle has processed here in their past songs - and since this past was not always easy, this album is very influenced by ballads. I can understand that, but I would have liked a few more fast-paced numbers. It stand out namely only "Forget my name" and "Good Times" from the mood of the album from. I personally find very unfortunate because although Michelle is known for its great ballads, I actually always particularly appreciated their uptempo numbers. Such can not be found on "Glass" unfortunately. Thus, the CD is not really varied and not arrives at "Rouge", in my opinion, best Michelle album.

The greatest songs are, in my opinion, the ballads "This Heart", "Hi Tanja" and "If it's wrong to love you" and you thank you to the fans, "Good Times".

Nevertheless, I think that it is worth buying the CD, because after the super summer with Tanja Thomas' disco bangers must now come the autumn - in which the quiet "glass" is the perfect album!

It will be interesting if Michelle this time even without large marketing strategy comes back all the way up the charts. To wish it would be.
