To taste:
The coffee tastes great. We tried several different varieties and consistently achieved good results.
Latte '(fairly simple preparation), cappuccino, espresso and coffee (good crema') delicious and good consistency.
The advantages in my eyes:
- Really quietly through the ceramic grinder preparation
- Simple preparation of lattes and cappuccinos
- Very good crema
- Good cleaning possibilities (the important parts, almost all in the dishwasher)
The disadvantages in my eyes:
- Relatively small water tank (2 rinses and 4 Kaffeepötte / 200ml = tank empty)
It being annoying, not early enough warning the machine when not enough water is present to make the pot full. This we have already tipped away some half-filled cups. Because the machine is only the decision no more water there is and not if too little water is present for my choices (which was better at Melitta, there came an early message).
- When the bean hopper is idle times, the machine spins after refilling before rum and it takes 2-3 attempts,
until he makes real coffee.
- The control panel is very hard to read. It would have been advantageous to illuminate this. So you need to know almost by heart, which button must be pressed to meet its election already.
- The hot water preparation (for tea, cocoa or other) seems awkward (was again better at the Melitta) therefore I unpacked our kettle again.
- The menu is personally very confusing and unclear to me. I need to still have the user manual (actually I can remember that something good).
Conclusion:
If one impresses itself certain processes (turning, water fill, enough beans in it ?, remember to 4 cups water tank refilled) and has memorized which key for which product and 'thinking right after a bar to the automatic cleaning ( Unfortunately, because only runs a countdown of 10 sec. from and the option is then off) can be satisfied with the result and has a delicious coffee.
If I'm honest, I would not buy the machine again, but continued looking for the perfect machine.
