The lid itself would be great, he would not have the design flaw that the lid is provided with a plastic rather than metal threads. So it is not fixable. After a short time shaking the handle and can not be tightened, because the thread from right soft plastic provides no maintenance to only partially accommodate safely a screw.

Such fatigue, after a lifetime of just 4 months (about 15 times in use) is not acceptable.
