With his latest work, "Different Shades of Blue", he lays back against a great album, which comes in high-quality pieces, such as the great, the same title song and the heart beat every blues and blues-rock friend later.
My first encounter with Bonamassa was in 2003 when I got him, experienced as support of Peter Frampton, on its US tour. Previously, I had not yet engaged in the musical work of him.
After that I had even then his latest album "So, It's Like That" gained what has me but, from whatever reason, did not particularly like after a first hearing.
It started a long, Bonamassa free time in which I have his future work only on the very edge and relatively uninterested pursued.
What has changed it again only with the wonderful 'Unplugged' album "An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House", which I liked excellent results after the first hearing.
Noticed a particularly positive to me for the first time not only his virtuoso and always praised by many sides playing technique on the guitar, but his very special style of singing me very much of a of my favorite singers, namely Paul Rodgers remembered.
