A winning combination

Short for my criticism environment: I have the receiver with a LAN cable with me into the network (using a Devolo). The connection to the AV receiver via HDMI and from there via HDMI to a 42 "Philips. I am normal user, that I look directly at the TV, which is in the living room. I do not want to stream movies, cut, other media Copy the television. I just want to watch and record every now and then in parallel, but that with good optical and acoustic quality. I want it not make some of my life's work, a receiver to individualize (ala Vu / Linux), but easy to use. Against this background, I judge.

The following characteristics I appreciate:
++ The receiver is very quiet, drive noise, there is only when you insert a DVD / Blue Ray Discs
The image quality is super good, both in television and in BD. While watching, I can compare and see the device here in the upper class. Blu Ray I have no experience, but do not see any difference from the very good HD television pictures.
++ The device has mE a very simple and intuitive-to-learn operating concept (for those who have already dealt with a similar technology, the one time or another).
++ Connections and setup, was - inklusibe channel sorting - done after 30 minutes.
++ The receiver combines DVB-C Twin-Tuner (a program see another record) and blue ray player / recorder in a box. Class for me.
++ The EPG is until now always up to date and clearly.
++ I like the silver casing.
+ The remote control may not be particularly wertig / touches his not so nice, but is very logical and functional
+ Access to the HbbTB goes very quickly.
+ Access to the Internet is ok, but I wish I could enter text easily on the phone. But that does not seem to give away the app. To time a max cathedrals / Watch Ever / ... rent film, it arrived but loose. Access times (Kabel BW with a lot of bandwidth) are certainly short.

What could you do better? The Android app I have downloaded it, I galube here there is room for improvement. I do not care, because I sit a film in the lounge and enjoy working with the remote control. An HDMI cable is not included. I find this "glitch"

All in all I am satisfied and recommend the top device highly.
