I find the use of Windows 8 was slightly getting used to, but still very pleasant. My Computer: Dell All-In-One PC, 2.2GHz single-core, 3GB of RAM, a mouse and keyboard. Where Windows 7 sooner rather slow partly pioneered the same hardware, it comes now with Windows 8 everywhere fixed a bit.
Perhaps the Modern UI is not for everyone, but I like it because it is simple, beautiful and relatively functional!
For the first time after 4 years loyalty to Firefox, I now use even in the W8 integrated Internet Explorer 10 (that I could be swayed, surprised myself)!
The ability to now be able to install apps on my computer, I find really cool. Well, the store is obviously not (yet) to be compared with Google's Play Store or Apple's App Store, but a few good apps and games are really there!
+++ Rapid (compared to W7 with hardware itself),
+++ Included Internet Explorer 10 swift as an arrow, with integrated flash player
+++ No additional virus protection necessary because Microsoft Security Essentials integrates (ie here Windows Defender)
++ Apps and games quickly and easily downloadable,
++ Chic and modern finishes (desktop as well as the Modern UI)
+ With the camera app can be quickly and easily use the webcam for taking snapshots or short videos,
O Angewöhung to two completely different surfaces required
O not all programs compatible W8 (sets over time)
- Currently no.
The CD's (32- and 64-bit versions) are packed in a small, very chic-looking cardboard box. All in all I'm very happy to have taken advantage of the offer in due time.
