The mat is relating to your functions properly. Keep the suction cups, the smell is ok, the size and perfectly adequate skid resistance very good.
The mat has half a year to get all dark stains that were no longer wash.
Perhaps the natural rubber has not tolerated with the bath oil. Some reviewers have probably had similar experiences.
For us, unfortunately too short-lived even at this low price, therefore, contrary to the positive reviews only 2 stars.
