Stephen Baxter makes us live through this writing the great adventure of the Martian conquest. However it does not fall into the easy rut, but "invented" rather realistic style of SF that builds on current science to make us glimpse what could be the future of man in space conquest ( if he gave in the means). This book is designed specifically to everyone who is interested in the space (its discovery, its conquest ...) but that current space programs do not vibrate, they will find here a story that gives hope for the future of man in space.
