I have purchased the player for watching 3D movies. Unwrapped, connected, enabled WLAN, installed software update ..... The whole thing lasted maybe 10 minutes. No problems with the wireless internet connection: the player is about 10m from the router away in another room. For Smart TV, I can not say anything because the player is connected to a projector. No problems when playing DVDs. Unfortunately, an on-off switch is missing. In standby mode it is an annoying high-frequency Fiepston of itself. Beeping computer monitors I usually send back immediately as being defective. The Payer we kept because it is anyhow connected to a disconnectable power strip. We want the permante beeping and Geblinke not, therefore everything is turned off after use. This problem is well known; but it seems to side of the manufacturers probably be technically unsolvable, install an on-off switch. When watching a DVD it runs quietly, no Gefiepse or drive rumble.
