I have 40 "LCD TV made me to look for a new antenna for my Sony with integrated DVB-T receiver, because the antennas that I have ever used (TechniSat DigiFlex TT 2, DVB-T rod antenna with gain and PSU and TechniSat Digitenne TT1 DVB-T indoor antenna) were unfortunately lacking in my old apartment.
The TT1 had always set his right to receive all the channels well. Once something has changed (leaves on the tree, chair somewhere else), the antenna had to be laboriously re-realigned. Although the reception performance was a total i. O., the handling of the antenna (setting in the right direction + alignment of two individual antennas) was flawed.
The TT2 has had a good reception on the TV - but not be able to receive all the stations. Maybe they would have had a better reception with better positioning.
Therefore, I have decided because of the good recommendations from Amazon for Philips antenna to install this on the balcony. When commissioning me but then noticed that the antenna also in the apartment had a very good reception. Now the antenna depends wedged between TV and the wall - with perfect reception of all channels!
The problem Rezensoren other with respect to the amplifier I can not understand. It is obvious that the antenna without amplifier can bring no comparable power. The installation of the amplifier is in my opinion no problem: as with many other antennas it is simply looped into the antenna cable between DVB-T receiver and antenna. Ie. But also that you said 8cm not necessarily required because the cable can be again extended also to the receiver through a short cable.
Summary of the advantages and disadvantages:
The need to move + perfect reception without the antenna great
+ Long antenna cable
+ Easy installation
+ Pole mount + bracket for wall mounting
o antenna cable on the antenna side has an F-connector, receiver-side a coaxial plug, whereby the change of the cable is indeed possible but not easy, because there is to my knowledge this cable is not easy to buy so
- Cable is (would know well in most people better) black
- Antenna is not particularly pretty (is of course subjective)
All in all, the antenna gets a "highly recommended" - especially in terms of value for money.
