I did not think twice, until I grew my game because, as the story has interested me already in advance.
And I was by no means disappointed.

The game:
The textures are really not the best, and here and there coming back before wobbles. If in the technical requirements that will bear the PS3 actually not happen ...
In contrast, FEAR convincing by the high intelligence of the AI ​​and the gloomy atmosphere, which is underlined by the soundtrack.
Opponents seek shelter, shoot partially blind from cover and sneak up behind a partially zoom.

About the story:
The story is largely the same as in well-known Japanese horror movies (see The Ring, The Grudge, Dark Water) and therefore offers nothing new. Nevertheless, the game has not just captivated me from the beginning. We sat partially to fifth around the screen and awaited full of excitement for the next moment of shock. (Mostly not for the fainthearted!)

Conclusion:
Even with below-average graphics highly recommended. Who will be interested in it not be disappointed.
In contrast to the atmosphere and the tension that prevails in FEAR, Resistance looks like child's birthday.
