The shadows of Kittur (Paperback)

Customer Review

After a first book critical acclaim (White Tiger), Aravind Adiga, offers us a much higher book. The sharp and realistic vision as it relates to Indian society, is never cold and distant, and it is there that the feat, because throughout this collection of stories, Aravind Adiga, depicts an image of India happens to reconcile love and realism, hardness and humanism. And the scenes are always colorful and warm despite the misery and the great social contrasts that knows this country. In the end, we are surprised to learn a lot, to feel more, through a fluid writing, which involves us but leaves us free at the same time.
Very consistent and very well done. I loved it.
