With the current system update Fire OS 4.6.1 (461 013 320) from 30.04.2015 much was really good. On the lock screen as well as a background image you can now set their own photos. On the lock screen you can all alerts, leave the top left of the screen display. When using WhatsApp and the e-mail mailbox My battery lasts up to three days. With frequent use, the time is reduced accordingly and is perfectly fine.
In Wi-Fi and LTE area the fire phone is really fast. Since I am an Amazon.com user, I am very satisfied with all the ways to use these ranges.
For Telekom SIM-Lock: The phone is when buying from Amazon (currently for 199/32 GB) available in all networks. Furthermore, it can be currently at Saturn for 149 with 64 GB get (TOP - price for such a phone!). As is true that like me you have a contract with Telekom or Congstar.
