On 15.10.2012 we acquired through Amazon a Humax iCordCable. Based on the positive reviews we thought to have acquired a good and functional product. After we had made us familiar with the unit and it seemed to us at the beginning, they have acquired a good device, has been and is getting worse. Description of defects: Unit switches without reason and mostly at RTL to somewhere and is moving only a switchover to the Humax TV portal and back to farther playback. In TV portal I can when times available again, look at the icons of the apps. Other sporadic Wegschaltungen must be rectified on the Exit button. On my last call to the fee-based hotline at 04:03:13 I was then declared again, you know the problem and would work on secondment. After this period of almost 3 months Humax should have long since found a solution. Other company program during this period an entirely new, error-free software. A copy of the recorded movies on a properly formatted USB flash drive is not possible. Copying constantly breaks off after differently long time. To top it off it is for some time now no longer possible to adjust the volume for the first and ZDF via the remote control at iCordCable. Here now every time has to be switched to TV mode. As a last resort, if possibly not a real error, does not manage the device, as opposed to a 40 DVD player, turn on the TV and display an image. This shows mE the bad programming. This could even my old DVD / HDD Receiver with an age of 4 years. I am disappointed not only about this bad product, but also to fix these errors at the inability of Humax. Or is it enough to have Humax sold and may not work on a fix. I can not recommend this product and will buy again in the future products from Germany.
