After the recessions I've read here I was a little disappointed in the college block only. I normally do at Clairefontaine and now wanted to try Oxford (in part because the blocks are much cheaper). Overall, the block makes at first sight only a mediocre quality impression. The cover page is much faster than standard blocks but not at the same level as Clairefontaine. The spiral reminiscent of a standard block as a "premium product". They will bend too easily and the open are the bottom end of the coil resistance such that I had to cut the perforation of the cover page to open the block comfortably. The paper itself (and that is what essentially yes to) is high but feels more like 80g / m². The surface is smooth and can be beautifully describe only does not come close to the brilliance and the smoothness of Clairefontaine. The micro is neat and the paper can be taken out to travel well. The paper remaining stump can be removed moderately well.
All in all quite good paper but it is not a premium product as suggested. The price of 2.12 per block is justified and, strictly speaking, such a block does not have the same properties we have one of the costing twice as much. Therefore 3 stars from me.
