Taylor Swift sold in the United States CDs like hot cakes, in this country it is even less known. With Fearless that could change. Compared with the 1st album Fearless is less country-heavy, but well-produced and well diversified Pop. The very young Taylor (not even 20 years old) has at least co-written every song itself and for her young age has come an amazingly mature work. Gentle ballads (Love Story or together with Colbie Caillat written Breathe) alternate with trendy-rocking tracks (You belong with me, Tell me why, Fearless). Compared to similar productions Fearless takes off pleasantly, no tumber pabulum à la DSDS Dödel pop, but entertaining, pleasant pop music. The last two tracks are the way to the original US edition not on it, but are recordings of their debut.
