It's a magical attraction from this CD. Until now I had never heard of Sigur Ros. Then I got their CD "Takk" recommended. At first listen I was, let's say "irritated". After a few times but I was addicted to the sound of Takk. How So? This is itself difficult to explain to me. Yes, the band comes from Iceland. Because you think it equal to Björk. And similarly exceptional is the music of Sigur Ros, albeit quite different. The songs are characterized by falsetto vocals of frontman Jorni who sings partly in Icelandic, partly in "vonländisch" a loud forming self-invented language. All in very high spheres hovering, melodic and (as I said, only after a certain stage of pure hearing) catchy and fascinating. So the CD is already for weeks my absolute all time favorite, which I barely loskomme.
