I use this cable to my Xbox 360 Slim to my amplifier to close.
I had imagined it really difficult because I have such a cable has not yet been used.

Simply insert cable into the XBox and the amplifier and that's it for me already.
Both the Xbox and my amplifier (Onkyo) recognized each other immediately.
Shortly converted to the XBox surround to stereo and you're done.
Finally no blechernden sound more about grottige monitor speakers.
