With this album it creates Dylan again with a new sound to surprise, because unlike his last plates missing here completely the gruff uncut element. He comes here with 10 songs, therefore, have been known primarily for Frank Sinatra, and he has set to music beautifully with his backing band. While listening it is clear that Dylan has to really love these songs - as he settles into stuff here. I was also surprised how nice Dylan can still sing if he invests it. Along with his house combo that acts more in the background, it gives rise to a wealth of beautiful harmonies. Yet his serene spent voice matches perfectly with the wistful songs. That this album for a long time is the first, the Dylan has recorded with a sound engineer in a studio, you can hear him quite at: The sound quality is brilliant. Dylan's singing is supporting in the foreground, a steel guitar shapes the sound from the side, a painted bass counters the harmony subtly from below, and from time to time the sound is supplemented by wind in the background. As with all really good Dylan plates these songs are for me with each listen better - they mature, so to speak in the ear. My tip: Attach, listen and get carried away by the songs headphones. Who only hears the music at the same time, will be disappointed - it is so fragile.
