I Sriracha met otherwise, in the '90s with a viatnamesischen snack in the Czech Republic. I was thrilled by the D & D gold Sriracha (golden bells brand), slightly fermented taste and so far, probably the best I've ever Sriracha could try. And I was amazed, she came from the US. Unfortunately, this sauce was eventually no longer manufactured and my Vietnamese cooking sought an alternative that here described Huy Fong Sriracha, also from the United States (where it is the undisputed No. 1).
So Huy Fong became my replacement and even if the sauce does not come up to the old D & D, it is my opinion the best now available product in this direction (apart from homemade Sriracha, which is another delicacy).
Me it tastes better than the Flying Goose Sriracha (whether red or green cap), I find the taste "honest", you can taste the fresh chillies out and that the sauce does not waive preservatives, but flavor enhancers and dyes. The Flying Goose, in contrast to Cock Sauce (Huy Fong, on the bottle a rooster (cock) is displayed) a more artificial taste. From the pungent as both do not take much, and I'm used to other sauces and no Sriracha feel more than hellishly sharp. She has enough whistle (79% Chili, far as I know red jalapenos are used very early Serranos, but which can be probably not so easy to grow) and fit otherwise to everything tastes even with the Flying Goose Sauce: Many Asian dishes, rice, pasta, kebab, pizza, burger, cheese, sausage bread, to refine other sauces, basically versatile than ketchup.
As you can see I like the sauce just that there are 5 star without any ifs and buts. Upside potential would still present (compared to no longer produced sauce), but it is currently the best industrially produced, in my opinion.
As I wrote before: It would be desirable if one of the sellers would store the sauce in Amazon, so it saves the shipping from 29 euros, I would buy more frequently. So far, I switched only because of the shipping costs on the other available here Sriracha, Nowe handed it to me and it is the few Euros well worth it.
