This album has been my home for Reinhard Mey beside the 1971 released first live album. And it is to this day one of my favorites - it's all depends what constitutes Reinhard Mey. Heiteres, Contemplative and his love songs on the edge of kitsch. One of the few studio albums on which no song could be identified as a weak point. The Sound and the instrumentation may seem a bit "antique" for today's requirements. But for this record / CD match. Mir are all twelve songs today at the ear. For any beginner - and it will probably be quite rare - is recommended in addition to "How prior year and a day" warmly this plate. There's everything on it that has made him so popular. My favorites: "Annabelle", "In tyranny", "Good night, friends" and "My eighth bay leaf".
