It's entertaining and original. I bought the complete series of manga after loved the animated film. All mini-stories are about 4 cases and are based on the absurdities of everyday life. Although the context is Japanese, it is not at all annoying. However, the animation is more moving and more alive, obviously, since the format of the manga 4 cases imposes limitations.
