One thing I must say, this Christmas CD is courageous. As you'd expect maybe before the first hearing consistently romantic sounds just once nachgesungen the familiar Christmas songs by Whitney Houston ... But then ... the CD is very different. It offers Christmas songs that are tinged jazz, yes, and then: then there is also real R & B numbers. Unexpected, but great if you're a fan of the genre, like me. In between, quite traditionally the beautiful "O Holy Night" - a good mix. Even the well-known "Little Drummer Boy" lives by the Arrangement on new. The new, the R & B arrangements adapted some sounds only once unfamiliar - but that's just the best! One discovers the new songs and can listen more often to be the same without her weary them. Whitney's voice? Well, no longer sweet and young as in the early years, but more in the style of the great blues or jazz singers. This is different from earlier, more mature, but not necessarily worse. Anyone who doubts her singing talents, simply should rest times in the almost a capella sung "Oh Come Emanuel" listen - that's soul, as he is in the book.
