Ms. Auel knows perhaps prehistory, but as novelist, she has exhausted his strength: between fear of animals, presentations, reminders of previous volumes, is desperately looking for a plot, and there are only descriptions caves, herbal recipes, and verbiage nickname metaphysics. No hope, even for lovers of crisp scenes: one in the whole book! and for those who do not appreciate eroticism, yet new pages to go, waiting for action that will never happen. But fond of scoops will be interested: at the end of the book, we learn the father's role in procreation! we are glad that Zelandoni die not idiots.
