Positive about this castle should be noted:
- Relatively easy (about 1 kg)
- Flexible armored cable
- Fairly good handling - the length is also a good wander around the castle to a lamppost.
- Wheel cylinder - allegedly against picking and bump keys better protection than many conventional locks
- 4 keys + 1 LED key;
- cheap price
Negative or Neutral:
- The Kunstoffummantelung the lock body looks relatively cheap, but this says nothing to the stability of the lock body itself (is more intended as protection).
Clear, one should also be on the intended use and that it is not dealing here with a lock-tip for more expensive bikes.
I was looking for a "compromise-lock" for my medium-priced bicycle (600) for temporary parking in the city. This fills the Rottweiler perfectly and at least much more stable than the usual Spiralkabel- 'Christmas trees'. Against the large bolt cutters but also the 20mm anti-tank member is hardly withstand.
If one wants to park his 2000 bike overnight before an abandoned train station, it should be clear that one should look for other locks.
Addendum: After 1 year and a winter the castle has yet been set some visible traces of rust in the locking mechanism. Yet it works, but still wonders how long ... It's sometimes a bit difficult to digest.
The biligen materials make it noticeable ...
