I know so many rock bands, but a band like The Pretty Reckless is very special! What is already beginning in the lead singer Taylor Momsen. She does what she wants, and damn good - I think that comes on the album really very good effect. In particular, in combination with their madness voice. But even the other band members have so much on the box, they come but originally all of the grunge band Famous! But now to the album itself. What I would definitely not expect was that there is rather quiet among the 10 tracks equal to 3. However, these are not soo quiet, as you know it from other typical ballads, but still manage rock elements with unusual music to combine. 'You' is probably the quietest song with acoustic guitar and violin, 'Nothing Left To Lose' a very beautiful, dreamy title and 'Just Tonight' an extremely soulful song with the sounds of the synthesizer, a perfect dominant presence of the voice, and very serious, thoughtful text. Then there are three more harder rock songs; 'My Medicine', a strong guitar driven song, in which Taylor shows she has a great voice but, 'Factory Girl', a pretty good track with my opinion, but rather little unique, and 'Since You're Gone', a song that probably comes about in the field of heavy rock and very well fits Tays voice. Furthermore rocking show the two single releases of the band [Just Tonight is the way number 3 ^^], 'Make Me Wanna Die', a song with a very good and expressive music, as expressive vocals and great lyrics, and 'Miss Nothing '... the song can I somehow did not describe, you have to have heard time ^^ Then there is it simply' Goin 'Down', one of my favorite songs on the album, in which Taylor with naughty text and cool music against Catholic Church rocks. And finally, the song 'Light Me Up' itself, in which it Taylor's Hatern goes to the collar and it differs from a 'rock, but not limited to rock' page displays.
I think that the whole album is extremely well sung and one of the few discs that it is worth buying anyway. The bonus tracks mentioned here is the way the song 'Far From Never' and 'Everybody Wants Something From Me', which are, however, available only for paid download on a US site and thus not on this CD. So, to conclude, I can only repeat myself again - Every penny is well invested!
