Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris seems to have made this album by prescription and without resistance. A Uptemponummer ("This Is Us") and is an attempt of a ballad, too, but when I hear a song like "Beyond My Wildest Dreams", then I pity involuntarily love that is dealt with here so dispassionately. In this sense, the title thwarted the claim of the whole round dance songs.
Succeeded by the way the artwork on the cover - inside it, but you can hear the photographer formally give his instructions: "And now kneel get behind the sofa and put his head on the back and try to look natural". Something like that must have motivated the musicians of the producer. Inside there cultivated boredom.
