Mediocre product with strong weaknesses

We have the receiver for several months in operation.
The image is always in order, and the exchange rate at programs is okay.
There are certainly faster devices, but the costs then also correspondingly more.

Positive noticed is us:
- Firmware updates by the manufacturer (in the last year 1x)
- Possibility of programming / sorting of stations on your PC
- Backup / restoration
- Cheap Price

The one negative Us:
- Volume problem (see below)
- Menus are very pixelated (16-color mode at perceived 240x320 pixels - on a Full HD TV)
- Support by the manufacturer equal to zero, responds unfriendly on demand.

Now to the volume problem:
We have this, like other Recensoren also previously.
The problem looks this following: we turn on the receiver. This will boot and then displays the TV picture.
At the same time the volume begins to regulate upwards until it is against the stop. But even then is still a control signal as (recognizable because still the bar for the volume can be seen).
This can be "switched off" by pressing force (yes, unfortunately) on the two front-mounted "buttons".
This leads after 2-3 attempts mean that the phenomenon adjusts.

Upon request, the manufacturer came to point out that we should please update the firmware and control the remote. Allegedly, the latter would always be the problem.
However, we have the Fernbedinungen already removed from the room - the problem still occurs. So it is not because of this.
The support has totally failed here and no longer helped.

Too bad.
It could have been a good and effective product.
But with these defects, we can not recommend the receiver unfortunately.
