Decisive for the benefit of a universal remote control is of course the question of whether their own devices are detected by the remote control. And here the misery begins:
During my Panasonic TV was still recognized by the remote control and at least its most important functions were automatically assigned to the correct keys, the remote control with the NAD components of my stereo could absolutely not do anything. And, although "NAD" is listed in the top 10 list of the proposed amplifier manufacturers extra and my amp model is only about three years old. None of the options listed in the manual led to success, and the instructions on the Web page does not.
So I created the customer service via Web-form written with a request to tell me the appropriate code for my NAD devices, and it received the following reply:
"Your request should within the next 137: edit 36 hours during the opening times."
137 hours borders already at an impertinence, but now even more than 6 weeks have passed without that I could get some information. Also, a separate e-mail sent demand remained unanswered to this day.
In the end, it is therefore a gamble whether the own devices are detected by the remote control. In support of the customer service you can not leave anyway. The only option then all that remains is very complicated to program for each individual key of each function of the corresponding device using the original remote controls. Given the low purchase price which in my view is a reasonable expense.
Conclusion:
Product 4-5 star (if you're willing, if necessary, a lot of time to put in the key programming).
Service 0 stars.
