The quilts are supplied in a plastic bag in which they may be well preserved and stored. When you open the bag, it emanates no unpleasant odor (for chemical or plastic, etc.). This I find very pleasant. The material is light as a feather and all seams are straight and precisely sewn and then meticulously crafted. There is no filler material around and hang it no loose threads down. The blankets can be washed at 60 degrees in the washing machine. That's what I initially made once. They arrived already half dry after spin cycle of the washing machine and then dried completely within three hours. The filler in the Quilt cassettes was as loose as before washing, it is not clumped together.
If you want to use the two quilts a thick winter blanket, you have to button it together. For white plastic push buttons have been incorporated. With snaps, it is always a bit tricky - they have to fit with millimeter precision exactly, otherwise they open at the wrong time. The snaps on the slightly thicker quilt I've found that most close very well and keep so even closed. But some unfortunately already open with little train. Because the quilt is sewn otherwise very clean and precise, even to the snaps around, there must be a material error in the preparation of the pushbuttons. Here a difference of half a millimeter will have the consequence that the snaps not close tightly enough.
With the Microfiber Four Seasons quilt I'm usually very happy. It is lightweight and fits snugly to the body without having night sweats suddenly freezes or below. Some quilts are quilted so unfavorable that form among fledged "cold zones". As we like to sleep with open window flap, it is very important to me that the material conforms and I do not wake them, I'm freezing. I have not yet found that I'm sweating under the thick blanket means and in midsummer, I will take the super thin quilt.
