I bought this GTX 970 only after the "4GB bug" again can not complain about it so already. This graphics card replaced my GTX 660 from Gainward that already could only address a part of the memory with full bandwidth. The power has approximately doubled by the change, the power consumption has risen by about 25 watts, sometimes more. All my games that juddered previously, now run properly (eg. As Thief, Grid Autosport, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter). I use Nvidia's "Adaptive Vsync" which for me is important for maximizing image quality while being one of the reasons why no Spulenfiepen be heard with me. The other reasons are probably a quality power supply (Dark Power Pro P9) and an insulated housing of Silentmaxx. The temperature settles for longer gaming sessions so just under 80 degrees, which I find totally OK. From the insulated housing, the two fans are not heard even under load out. Positive noticed is my quality feel of the graphics card, the cooler is actually made of metal and not plastic, looks really classy and feels like that. For the more "expensive" GTX 970 really a great quality. Overall, I think Nvidia currently too expensive. The AMD competition has sometimes more for the same price, but I'm already landed on the grounds of efficiency and the features "Adaptive Vsync" at Nvidia. 300 Watt energy "consumption" in partly over 90 degrees GPU temperature was in the R9 290X for me then but ultimately dissuasive, sorry AMD ......
