On Mount Olympus!

Granted, my opinion on this album comes quite late, but now is the right time to look back after this by now another album (Battle For The Sun) on the market and the tour is finished. To say it first: I am not because of the voice of Mr. Molko Placebo fan, but rather in spite of ... That's why I rate the albums also primarily based on how badly me the pieces musically (melody, drama etc.) pack. For me there is no bad Placebo album. They are even all good to very good. But Meds is in my ears the culmination of their work so far. Olympus! Even better than Sleeping With Ghosts. Why so superlative? Because it some songs for eternity are especially reactive, Follow the cops back home and Meds. And even the less catchy or rousing pieces like Space Monkey and Pierot the clown revealed after repeated listening the great songwriter Art of placebo. So I recommend this album to all who are fond of rock music in any way. And I recommend to all to watch live placebo. By the way: Who is the Limited Box Set the last album At length (highly recommended!), Which can be one more time to convince on the live DVD from Cambodia of which have unique quality pieces of Meds, even if they are played quiet (there are in fact six pieces available in this live recording).
