I can not agree with the many negative reviews. My Humax receiver works problemos and makes a lot of joy. The Humax produced a very good, harmonious picture. For me, better than the picture of the Blessed Technisat PR-K, which I also own. In contrast to the image of the Humax Technisat affects less harmonious and somewhat fuzzy focus (on my Panasonic tube TV at least). The TV sound is very good, the operation is clear and simple. But you should deal with it a little. The EPG works perfectly for me. However, sometimes it takes 5 - 10 seconds appears to everything. Admittedly here the Technisat has advantages. The EPG is better built up in him and faster. Really liked me also the manifold possibilities to sort the channels or to make favorite lists together. Also because it is superior to the Technisat. Recording with DVD recorder is also not difficult. You have just 2 x program a mission. First, the receiver via EPG and then again the DVD recorder. Programming the receiver is really very simple. Start and end times can easily change as well. The only drawback: The receiver does not block the programmed station. Ie you change while recording the program, even this change is recorded. As the Technisat has an advantage, because it blocked the channel change in recording programming. An unusual heat development I can not determine. The receiver is at best lukewarm, even in operation (just tested again). TechniSat is against warmer already in standby mode. Conclusion: The Humax PR-Fox C is a very good choice. And for me, especially because of the great picture quality choice!
