Customer Review

I want this review "out to get them" not 3D freaks who so verpulvern with your plasma cannon and Stromfesser consoles when viewing a BD around 700 watts per hour. If you like it and to whom the power consumption does not matter, why not, and as long as the nuclear power plants are still running, certainly not a problem. I am, however, already made with 60 Watt.

The 3D euphoria will not last in my opinion anyway for long, because the man is a "creature of habit" and soon 3D-watching is a habit and therefore boring and adjust the opinion that one of the equipment and the expensive 3D BDs actually spent way too much money.

I belong to the category of people who want to just enjoy a movie in hi-fi and HD quality. The BD player should in this case have a good image quality, be simple and easy to use and the viewing point here should be bothered by no drive noise.

Certainly there are some high quality 3D Player, which are excellent also in 2D, but this is reflected in the price. When you 3D does not use, would be a player that can do both a bad investment, because I buy also no camel with anchor if it does not make sense to drop the anchor in the desert sand.

Obviously, the market has to this - certainly not a few - not adjusted non-3D users, because a simple, good and inexpensive BD player without 3D is to make damn hard to find.

I have found one that meets the criteria described above, as for me, however, a lot of time for research and endless reading of User opinions, which for me are but more importantly, has cost as reviews.

>>> It is precisely this one: Philips BDP3300 Blu-ray Disc player.

It is indeed easy to use, has good image quality and excellent user interface is extremely quiet, fast, looks valuable and cost around 100 Euros.

Here Finally in summary, as a result of my personal experiences and for me important opinions of other users to some alternative devices (without 3-D-frills):

Panasonic DMP-BD85
Top image quality (best that I know of), easy to use, very quiet, fast, high quality finish. Is in my living room and I do not give her too.

Panasonic DMP-BD65
similar to how the BD85, but not so quiet. This equipment has unfortunately made the "mosquito" and so I was looking for a replacement second device and bought the Philips.

Panasonic DMP-BD77
If you like milk mix like for this device is ok, however, I am nervous centrifuge-like noise when reading and high frequency sounds when you play, you still hear in 5m distance. In addition, the BD77 looks cheap and is very light. Where has the usual Pan. processing? And the display: A joke (too small to read only at close range). Obviously invested Pan. no longer in single units and focuses solely on the 3D business!

Philips BDP2930
While this is reasonably priced, but should have extreme scratchy drive noise. On pressing the buttons of the device FB is to respond very slowly.

LG BD650 Blu-ray Player
Here a vast discontent is spreading (SW problems etc. etc.) and I have therefore left them the finger. In addition, these players will be very loud.

Sony BDP-S185
Quiet, good and reasonably priced, but without a display! What shoud that? Every time my wife calls "Schatzi, dinner is ready," I look for the remote control and the button that you have to press to see the remaining playing time of the film to respond to: "Be right there," or "will take some time, Mausi ". Certainly no one wants to be stuck in my skin, if I do not find the same FB and my wife needs to call the 2nd time :-)
