I did not know there was a tome before this item ... it happens from time to time ... However, this did not bother me unduly! very good terroir novel about very interesting and well treated (peasant life in Britain and changes in the twentieth century) Some shortcuts in time, sometimes years pass very quickly, few cues from wars, technological, and societal ... sometimes hard to locate! Family relationships, the heart of the novel are very well told though classics. Hervé Jaouen is a good writer, I will read other books of this writer ... and of course, the book that preceded this one!
