Not being a specialist and not having a very large philosophical knowledge I greatly enjoyed this exciting novel, which taught me a lot, not only about Spinoza who were pioneering ideas and interesting but also about the ideas of many great classical philosophers. Another biography that alternates with that of Spinoza, that of the Nazi ideologue Alfred Rosenberg is just as interesting. A book I highly recommend!
