Still a gem of the genre

Although "Jak and Daxter" is a bit dated, so it needs to graphically but not hide behind current titles. Quite the opposite: The landscape is detailed and of course designed the differences from the recent "Ratchet & Clank" tend Maginal, only the figures are less well designed.
The gameplay, however, can fully convince, because to come to the typical jump'n'run deposits various fun mini games that provide variety. The level of difficulty is quite crisp in some places, but since you unlimited attempts to bewälltigen has a section, it is a total fine.
The game is therefore a real recommendation, even if it takes maybe (only) one week of intensive playing to reach the end.
What I particularly liked to Jak and Daxter, was the atmospheric fantasy world. Here comes the spaceige Ratchet and Clank not against. The perfect control of surprised me. For example, the camera is nich very mobile, making it but no funny business like Super Mario Sunshine (GC).
Conclusion: Jak and Daxter is from today's perspective still a real jump'n'run hit.
