The light color is okay. In direct comparison, however, noticeable that still not even anywhere near enough the best "warm white" LED's on the perceived ambiance classic Glübirnen or halogen lamps. But quickly you get used to it. Of otherwise often bemängelnden green or blue stitches nothing to remember.
The dimming over a Eltako central dimmer (in the fuse box) works to problemlos.Dimmt zero high start LEDs though much later than the halogen spotlight. However, still dark enough. No matter what level of brightness - it is no flickering or humming to hear. Everything perfectly.
Point deduction there from me for the extent and the questionable choice of material of the lamp body with the white ceramic.
While standard halogen bulbs with direct top view only the glass can be seen in these parts of the wide edge of the luminaire body in the installed state is clearly visible and acts - except for white mounting frame - like a design excessive debris. What with the ceramic is not traceable. All other sebson LED spotlights come in neutral glass design. Unfortunately, the dimmable not. Neither technically nor in terms of heat generation or dissipation, the use of the material is traceable.
But yet ärgelicher than the color limitations is the fact that the lamps are about 3mm longer than required by the standard (and, for example, the non-dimmable sebson variant complies). Therefore, with built-in lights with fixed versions they are above it.
But as I said - unfortunately there is currently no (dimmable) alternatives that can keep up regarding technique, color and light output with the sebson.
