to the product:
The lamps are provided with starter replacement, and Osram-typical, as usual, packed in a box, so that neither of the two substitutes (lamp and starter) is damaged.
The Assembly:
is very simple, off, then fluorescent rausdrehen, starters boring, replacement starter (I mark with paint pen as LED-Starter) turn a turn and replacement LED bulbs purely because this is plastic, the tube is a little softer than the fluorescent tube. So a little more careful when turning one, both pins must be on both sides in the rotating part of the base.
Product:
the switching is "start" without the hassle and takes place directly,
by matte plastic tube, the light is distributed evenly,
no flicker or the like,
the color I would sort between warm and "daylight" (which can can also be influenced by the previous tube manufacturer with me, there were hot and warm vary among manufacturers).
the luminosity seems to me a little stronger than that of the fluorescent lamp (warm tone), which may be due to the color.
the luminosity of the tubes is slightly darker than the "daylight tubes with about 20% more light output" from Osram.
The tubes hang from ME about 1 mm, for creep of the plastic that can imho over time also increase,
and finally: "... these things should consume only half of juice now ....."
Savings in kWh price of 11.2014
the price of 0.29 / kWh cost of 10 in (1000/29 * 1000/18 = 1915) are amortized 2,000 hours burning time.
at a firing time of about 6 hours a day which then corresponds to about one year.
Conclusion
If the light does not prematurely give up the ghost,
I am very satisfied.
Worth it apparently right with a price per tube ICL. Porto from 15 .-- (to myself. 2 lights 12.2 * 2 + 3.9)
