After this keyboard has endured for half a year with my son in continuous stress test, I have a non-gamer myself decided also to invest. And did not regret it:
- 18 macro keys, triple occupied = 54 keyboard macros.
- You can assign applications own macro definitions, so nx 54 keyboard macros - as part of the memory that the 5.7 KB is probably in order.
- Also mouse actions can be integrated, for non-gamers probably more of a special case.
- The media playback via the keyboard as well as the connection for a headset are less interesting to me, but have certainly its charm.
- Multiple applications that run via the keyboard panel, offered, but for me are of secondary interest.
- The keystroke may not be for everyone, me is he good.
- The three macro modes can be different colors for the keyboard backlight and the panel reject - rather gimmick.
- A switch can be switched off according to the manual "disturbing context menus" - not quite true, but highly humping at least for all occasions inappropriate taskbar can tame it.
My focus is on Photoshop - and here I have, without exaggeration, does the work of weeks within hours. Simply the most important functions in PSE usually a mixture of mouse clicks and monkey bars, as a result of keyboard input stored, now I am doing these things literally at your fingertips.
After this adulation and criticism is attached:
- Chance, it happens that certain macros just do not want; a pattern I could not recognize. If, however, really an exceptional case.
- The keyboard could be higher in the back to my mind, the feet are still advised arg small.
- The palm rest has failed rather limp.
- The panel will be displayed among other things, a clock - but this is the last time from the PC to, say, in the idle state it will stop.
Despite these criticisms, for which I have a point deducted, a strong buy recommendation for non-gamers - but of course only if you have repetitive inputs, can be automated in accordance with the macro keys. For the price this is of course also a certain luxury ...
