My connected on TV HTPC should occasionally be able to play Blu-ray discs. Since I was not entirely happy with WinDVD Pro 11, I tried it with the older and thus cheaper version of PowerDVD Ultra 3D. I see clear advantages in terms of operation and integration in the system. Especially good I found, which is available to the Cinema Mode PowerDVD also in Windows7 Media Center. Apart from unnecessary update requests I would buy PowerDVD again. However, in my HTPC tinkers only a small Intel i3 in 35Watt design, with which it is apparently not possible to play Blurays liquid. Ultimately I'd rather have bought instead of an expensive, larger processor a 3D Blu-ray player (complete hardware :-).
