It is rare to find well-written thrillers, it is even rarer to find an author who is not afraid to combine a priori themes strongly distant and yet find their coherence in a short story that spares neither the twists nor the psychological depth of the characters. Adamsberg is really endearing and disconcerting accuracy. A lover of history, I learned things in this novel on Robespierre and even if some issues fall under the myth, coordinates perfectly for the reader to delve into the mysteries of a mystery held in the most demanding breath thrillers -maniaques ;-) And if Adamsberg takes us in Iceland, it is following with pleasure, in a hurry to know what it is ... a very good novel.
